We're still in Beta!
Open Garage wants to become a central place for people opening their workshops for others to visit.
A place to share and collaborate on projects, a virtual representation of personal hackerspaces.
But I'm not ready with all the features I'd want from such a site ...
Todos
I'm developing this site in an agile way and it will be ready when it's ready.
Features get added as they gain importance, and I never really know what's going to be added next.
Here's some of the features that need implementing and hopefully get done over the next few weeks:
- Add projects to locations and events
- Social network (facebook, twitter, ...) authentications for user accounts
- Notifications of actions on the site (e.g., registrations and acceptance thereof)
- Much better UX for the images, such as multiple uploads, modals, galleries, ...
- Search for events (by location and time), projects, locations, ...
- Better integration with Google maps (i.e., provide labels for location pins)
- Home page needs lots of highlights, e.g., upcoming events, ...
- Need some icons to make events, locations, projects and groups distinguishable
